Our (internal) Accounting Technicians

Our accounting technicians have completed a DEC in accounting and have accumulated at least ten years of experience in internal accounting in a SMB offering professional services, before joining us. If they didn’t know MS Dynamics NAV / D365 BC before, they learned it quickly once they were on the job. Excel experts, they are recognized for their rigor, attention to detail, analytical and synthesizing skills, sense of initiative and autonomy. They all share good judgment as well as a great sense of organization, efficiency and collaboration. Finally, they have excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).

Once in position, they perform the various accounting tasks of the firm, including :

  • Accounts Receivable: Invoicing (issuing invoices and sending them to clients), collection, application of payments in the system.
  • Accounts Payable: Coding and entering invoices, preparing payments, validating credit card accounts and payments.
  • Treasury: Bank reconciliation.
  • Project accounting: Monitoring timesheets, validation and entry of invoices, validation of month-end accruals, validation of project openings, validation of work in progress at month-end.
  • Coaching of the administrative assistant.

Our internal Technical Support Analysts

Our internal technical support analysts have all completed a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and at least seven years of experience in IT support (problem solving and installation of desktops, laptops and software), hardware and software management, and network management (on premise and cloud). They have their MCITP, MCSE or MCSA certification, as well as networking certifications such as Cisco, VmWare, Microsoft or Novell. More field experience with a DEC can compensate for the bachelor’s degree.

They know how to prevent and solve problems while maximizing the use of computer resources. They have extensive experience with hardware, software applications, network operating systems (Cisco, Novell, Windows Server) and the Cloud environment.

Their main responsibilities include:

  • User Support: Creating user accounts and controlling accessibility according to company policies. Responding to employee requests for hardware, software or network support and troubleshooting failures (levels 1-3). Identifying and analyzing trends in problem reporting and developing preventive solutions.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Maintaining the registry of installed software. Taking care of license management and writing update policies and procedures. Ensuring prompt delivery of products and that all new equipment is installed and ready for use in a timely manner. Providing recommendations, after review, to standardize hardware and software. Analyzing hardware and software problems and developing technical solutions. Preparing and updating system documentation, including user and technical manuals.
  • Network Management: Assessing operational and application requirements for enterprise data and telephone networks. Planning, designing and upgrading network installation projects. Designing and maintaining backups, version control and viral defense systems. Diagnosing network architecture problems and making recommendations and improvements. Making recommendations to leverage network facilities and reduce operational costs.
  • Certifications Management: Maintaining a record of the certifications required to sell and implement our solutions. Ensuring that the firm is in good standing at all times.
